I&#039;m a researcher who studies self-organizing groups and communities. So far (35 and counting), regardless of size, they always trace themselves back to three-person (and sometimes two-person) groups much like the triad you describe (for example, describing the group as some combination of magic, a life raft, oxygen masks, free therapy, and places where they can be more their whole or true selves). If they grow (they don&#039;t always need to), everyone who joins has a similar experience, tracing the beginning of the group, for them, back to a 2- or 3- person group as well.

Daily I see these groups change people, organizations, and cities for the better. Thank you for writing about your group!
